Westfalia Technologies, Inc. introduced the Savanna.NET® Warehouse Execution System (WES) software in January 2015. A unique warehousing software solution, Savanna.NET®, combines a tightly integrated warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) into a single application to help manufacturers and distributors direct, control and optimize internal material flow and order picking.
Westfalia is the leading provider of logistics solutions for manufacturers, warehouses and distribution centers, specializing in automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). Savanna.NET is always offered with Westfalia’s AS/RS as either a warehouse management system (WMS) or warehouse control system (WCS) or both.
With the launch of Savanna.NET WES, Westfalia now offers a standalone software solution to help simplify and control the entire warehousing process, while reducing the complexity of using several different “function-specific” applications. Savanna.NET WES can now be offered to customers either as a software solution to run the entire warehouse, or be coupled with an AS/RS or other automated material handling equipment.

Savanna.NET® offers users the functionality necessary to efficiently receive, store and track product, as well as optimally marry inventory to customer orders using the solution’s integrated order fulfillment processing capabilities. Using the Savanna.NET® integrated WCS functionality, the application directs either automated material handling equipment or manual labor to execute the work. Inventory tracking also occurs seamlessly by utilizing the software’s WMS components. In addition, Savanna.NET® has the flexibility for a variety of deployment options, ensuring that users receive the WES solution that best meets their needs.
